About Our Company

We started because we were tired of watching people get taken advantage of.

How This Started

Six years ago, I was done. Not the way you're done on a Friday afternoon—really done. I'd spent years listening to homeowners come to me with the same story: a garage door needed fixing, and some big contractor quoted them $2,000 for a $400 job. They knew something was wrong. They just didn't know how to fight back.

I'd been in this industry long enough to see the pattern clearly. Big companies treated it like a sales game. Every job was an opportunity to upsell. They'd find a problem that didn't exist, or worse, create one. Then they'd convince you it was urgent. The homeowner would panic and sign.

I decided to do something different. I started small—just me and my truck. I promised myself one thing: I'd never do to someone what those companies were doing. No inflated quotes. No sales pitch. No upselling people into things they didn't need. Just honest work, fair prices, and the truth about what their door actually needed.

The early jobs taught me fast. When you're not pushing customers toward services they don't need, you have to be really good at what you actually do. You have to show up on time. You have to fix it right the first time. You have to treat their home like someone cared about it, because they do.

'I started this company to be the contractor I wish existed when I needed one.'

What We've Learned

Honesty sounds simple until you're running a business. We learned early that when you don't upsell, customers notice. They remember it. A woman called us back three years later just to recommend us to her sister—not because we did something flashy, but because we told her the truth: her spring had another year left in it. We could've replaced it. We didn't.

Affordability means something specific to us. It doesn't mean cheap. It means fair. We've learned to be ruthlessly efficient in how we work so we can pass that to our customers. No unnecessary trips. No padding the estimate. No markup games. We keep our overhead low because your money shouldn't go to our advertising budget—it should go to fixing your door right.

Integrity in a small business isn't optional—it's survival. When you're not backed by a big name or a massive marketing budget, your only real asset is people trusting you. One bad decision, one dishonest moment, and that's gone. So we've learned to make decisions the hard way: what's right, not what's profitable?

We've learned that local matters. Our neighbors know us. We see the same families season after season. That relationship changes everything about how we show up.

Working With Us

When you call, you get someone who listens. We ask questions before we quote. We show up when we say we will. Our estimate is what you'll pay—no surprises when the invoice comes.

You'll notice we talk straight. If your door can be repaired, we repair it. If it needs replacing, we tell you why and we don't pretend otherwise. We respect that this is your home and your money. That respect shows up in everything we do, from the first phone call to the moment we leave your property.

Give us a call. Let's talk about what's actually happening with your door.
